Dear EPC Volleyball Families and Fans: After much thought, consideration, and consultation with our local health department, the decision has been made to postpone all High School Volleyball operations until Wednesday, September 30th, which will be a practice in Plum City. This includes all Varsity, JV, and C-Team games and practices. The reason for this decision was based on coaches or players that have either tested positive for COVID or were deemed to be a close contact person of someone who has tested positive for COVID. We feel it is in our best interest to assure we are being preventative and safe before moving forward while we consider the health of all of our students, staff, and families. We realize this impacts many people and groups in numerous ways and we did not take this decision lightly. We want to be sure we are doing everything within our control to keep people safe and keep the possibility of having any form of a season alive. The following matches will be cancelled at this time: ● Tuesday, September 22nd vs Durand (in PC) ● Thursday, September 24th @ Durand ● Tuesday, September 29th vs Elk Mound (in Elmwood) Our goal is to start back up with practice on Wednesday, September 30th in Plum City and resume gameplay on Thursday, October 1st in Elk Mound. Coaches will be posting at-home workouts and virtual practice routines starting Monday, September 21st for the girls to remain prepared for competition. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact EPC Athletic Director, Kevin Haglund at (715)647-2911 ext 2280 or firstname.lastname@example.org . Thank you and stay safe, Kevin Haglund EPC Athletic Director
At this time there are not enough MS football players signed up to have a season. We are going to offer the MS'ers that are interested the option to practice alongside the HS team. We will continue to work with local schools to get some competitions scheduled later this fall. If choosing to practice alongside the HS, they would be able to observe and pick up on coaching points before branching off on their own to work on skill development. Those in Plum City choosing this option will also need to cohort with the football players during the school day. For more information, please contact Mr. Haglund at email@example.com . Go Wolves!
