Dates To Be Determined After DNR Allows Registering Students
We would like to offer the Hunter Safety course, as in the past. Again, due to the current uncertainty related to COVID-19 policies, we are unsure how the state-mandated 19 hours of instruction will be structured related to in-person, virtual, hands-on opportunities, and the actual written/field tests. This may depend upon the number of interested students so we would like to have an idea how many students may be interested in participating. State regulations do not state a minimum age for participation. However, the instructors strongly encourage students to be 12 years of age, or older, during the year it is taught. At the time of writing this, the DNR is not allowing registration of students in their system so tentative dates can not be offered at this time.
