On March 21st, twenty six Elmwood students attended a presentation by Kim Bremmer of Ag Inspirations. Her message was titled- "Celebrating American Agriculture- It's Time to Speak Up". The event was sponsored by the Pierce County Dairy Promoters and hosted at the Ellsworth High School by the local FFA chapter. Mrs. Bremmer shared current statistics related to modern agriculture and encouraged students to use their voices and tell about the importance of producing healthy food for an increasing human population.

Elmwood strives to ensure that reading is at the forefront of your child's learning. Through an Accelerated Reader program, students are asked to meet certain benchmarks to better their reading skills. Furthermore, students are placed at a level where learning activities are paced accordingly, not necessarily by grade level.
Elmwood Middle School offers math courses that meet the needs and abilities of all students. Like Reading, Math is leveled based on the where your son/daughter is currently performing in math. The instructors will then cater to the needs of each level to build a better foundation of learning.
