Bullying and Harassment have been huge issues not only in the media, but for our students. At Elmwood Schools, we pride ourselves on being able to know our students well and to be available to them daily. The last thing we want is for someone to be bullied or harassed at our school. As such, we have taken several steps to combat bullying and harassment. All students, grades PreK-12, are trained annually on how to identify, report, and prevent bullying at age appropriate levels. In addition, students in grades 6-12 are provided with the following information:
School Board Anti-Bullying Policy
EHS Bullying Referral Form
If you suspect your child is being bullied, or is a bully to others, please don't assume the school knows about it. Please contact us so we can work together to prevent bullying in our school.
Stopbullying.gov is also an excellent resource on bullying, including signs your child could be bullied, or could be a bully.
