Hello, my name is Brittany Peterson. I am the new part-time school nurse at Elmwood, and I also work full-time as a registered nurse at the Mayo Clinic Health System - Menomonie location in the Family Birth Suites.  I graduated with my Associates Degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College, then received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. 

I have also been the middle school volleyball coach here at Elmwood for the past 3 years.

I am married and my husband Lance and I have 2 cats - Coby and Milo - and a German Shepherd puppy, Dexter.  During my "free time," I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working around the house (gardening, landscaping, decorating, cooking), reading, and doing arts and crafts (scrapbooking, DIY projects, etc).  I also enjoy being active by taking Dexter for walks/runs, as well as playing volleyball as often as I can.
