My name is Adam Zenner, and I am
very fortunate to be able to work with the students, parents and staff as
superintendent/high school principal of the Elmwood School District. I
have been in education for 8 years, and look forward to continuing my career
in education, helping our students grow emotionally, personally, and
intellectually.
The 2008/09 school year brings many
exciting changes, and I am proud to be a part of the many changes and
initiatives going on in the Elmwood Schools. Let me highlight a few,
such as, moving our 6th grade from the elementary to the middle school,
researching and adapting a new PrK-12 math series, and enhancing our
technology in the classroom by introducing LCD projectors and interactive
whiteboards.
I believe that every student in the
Elmwood School District deserves a safe and welcoming environment where they
can receive a quality education. A quality education that provides our
students with the foundation needed to be successful in reading, writing, and
mathematics. An environment that emphasizes the importance of
demonstrating respect, responsibility, honesty, perseverance, compassion,
self-discipline, and many more of our core values. The Elmwood staff is
committed to providing a quality education and a safe and enjoyable learning
environment.
I am married, and my wife, Ann, and
I have a daughter and son. We enjoy spending our time camping,
traveling, biking, cooking, and fishing together. We also have a
chocolate lab, and his name is Kottie. He is an excellent bird dog and
we get out hunting as much as we can. I am an avid whitetail hunter,
but like a variety of hunting. I truly enjoy spending time
outdoors. I am very pleased to be a part of the Elmwood School
District, and look forward to working with the entire school-community to
help ensure our youth experience a quality education.
