EPC Boys Basketball Summer Program -"Where Winning Begins!"
The EPC Boys Basketball Summer Program consists of team activities, weight lifting, shooting, dribbling, volunteering (Youth Basketball Camp), league play and tournament play. Students should take advantage of the opportunities to become a better basketball player for their TEAM while working TOGETHER this offseason.
The following is a list of opportunities for you to participate in this summer:
Shooting Club: Athletes will be challenged to shoot 10,000 shots this offseason. Basketball Players will have from May to October. *A log sheet will be provided.
Weight Training/Plyometrics: The weight room will be open throughout in the mornings during the summer. During this time weight training, agility, shooting, and dribbling would be emphasized. A weight training program will be provided.
Leagues: This summer, we are signed up to play in one (1) varsity league which is played in Elk Mound each Thursday throughout the summer. (See attached schedule). The JV/Freshmen will have an opportunity to be a part of a traveling league played on Wednesday nights. (See attached schedule). For athletes interested in playing in the leagues there is a $25 charge.

Tournaments: We are planning on participating in 3 summer tournaments. Dates (TBD)
Contact Days: Each year, the coaching staff has an opportunity to coach and practice with the team for 5 days. This year we will plan to have three (3) Contact Days from June 2-4. This will run the same day as the youth camp. The times for the contact days will be 4- 6 p.m.
Youth Basketball Camp: Players are encouraged to participate and volunteer at the EPC Youth Boys Basketball camp which will be held in Elmwood and Plum City on Tuesday, June 2 - Thursday, June 4 from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Cost will be $30 and each participant will receive a t-shirt. Please see the attached flyer below.
UFO 3 on 3 Tournament: On July 25 the EPC Boys and Girls will be hosting a UFO Day Classic 3 on 3 Tournament. More information to come.
Open Gyms: The gyms will be open each morning for you to weight train and shoot. Also, on Wednesday Nights, from 6-8 p.m. there will be a structured shooting, passing, and dribbling open gym in Plum City. This will be ran by volunteer parent(s) of the program. This is an incredible opportunity for EPC athletes to develop the skills necessary to be successful next year.
