SPANISH I - (9-12) (1 credit) Learn to express yourself in Spanish. Students work on communication skills that will enable them to function in a Spanish‑speaking culture while developing a general insight into how languages work. Students will explore practices and beliefs of Spanish-speaking cultures.
SPANISH II - (10-12) (1 credit) (Prerequisite: minimum grade of C- in Spanish I) The year begins with a review of vocabulary and grammatical structures studied in Spanish I. Students continue to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Spanish, using more complicated grammatical structures and communicative functions. Students will deepen their knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures.
