PHYSICAL EDUCATION - (9) (.5 credit) (Required) Acquire the basic skills and knowledge of the rules in the following sports: Softball, Football, Basketball, Dance, Speedball, Bowling, Basketball, Volleyball & Gatorball. The student will also develop cardiovascular fitness through various class activities.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - (Fall 10/11-A) (.5 credit) (Required) This class will focus on fitness for life using activities that can be performed throughout the students' lifetime.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - (Spring 10/11-B) (.5 credit) (Required) Students will acquire the skills and knowledge to perform activities throughout their lifetime that will promote overall wellness.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - LIFETIME FITNESS - (11-12) (.5 credit) (Elective) (Prerequisite-completed 1.5 credits of Physical Education) This class will be offered to 11th and 12th graders that are self driven to improve the own level of physical fitness. Emphasis on improving fitness through individualized program. These programs will be developed by the instructor unless one is developed by the students that meet instructor approval.
HEALTH - (8) (.5 credit) (Required) Health instruction promotes an active role in protecting, maintaining and improving an individual's health. Students will learn to develop, establish and achieve positive life style goals.
